Black History Month Artisan and Author Fair at Lexington Market

All month long, excluding Sundays, the Market will be hosting African American Authors and Artisans whose work will be available for purchase. Handcrafted jewelry, sculptures, painting, photography, books and vintage memorabilia are some of the items that you will find from vendors during this fair.  In addition, each Saturday from Noon to 2 PM Lexington Market’s Live Music Concert Series hosts some of Baltimore’s most established as well as up and coming musicians, ranging in music styles from Blues and Jazz to the top Mo Town Beats.  This month’s line-up:

New this Month, each Saturday at 10 AM the Market will host a kids hour where there will be a guest children’s author or a hands on crafts in the Arcade of the Market throughout the month.

  • February 4th – Author Mark C. Booker and daughters Renarda and Cypress Booker reading Why Our Teacher Wears Yellow.
  • February 11th – Kid Crafts
  • February 18th – Author Meshia Sutton reading Grace Goes to Ghana.
  • February 25th – Kid Crafts

 

Author Fair – Wednesday, February 1st – Saturday, February 11th 10 AM to 6 PM.

 

Artisan Fair – Monday, February 13th – Saturday, February 25th 10 AM to 6 PM.
